Matt, a triathlete, outdoors-enthusiast, and Joby, a designer with a passion for running, took out a loan of £25,000 in April 2021 to launch Dryad, an outdoor sportswear company for women based in Wales.
At the heart of their venture is the desire to make the best quality and sustainable clothing while fighting for better equality in sport.
Matt and Joby said “We set Dryad up because we wanted our work to not only be purpose-driven but also fun. We wanted to build a brand that has integrity, is fair and transparent in its goals and enables us to provide opportunities and support women to participate in all sports at all levels.”
