Adrian Ryan co-runs creative agency Chips & Gravy Studios with Kevin Shannon from their base in Staffordshire.
Founded in 2013, Chips & Gravy Studios offers a range of services that can create some truly stunning work for businesses, from web design projects to logo design, business branding to motion graphics.
Adrian originally set up in a home office offering these services to small businesses. After a few weeks of working part time on various video and design projects, he identified a potential scope in the market for these types of services to be sold on a much larger scale.
After seeing profits double month on month, he decided to take the leap and present his vision and forecast to Start Up Loans. Adrian received his loan through Delivery Partner GC Business Finance (formerly British Finance Solutions), and his primary focus was to invest in new equipment and software.
The positive impact that this loan has had in my productivity has been incredible. We are already attracting bigger clients due to more effective marketing and are looking to add another designer to our collective in the next few months.
The business has now worked with some great businesses on different projects, including development of an e-commerce site for Mallet Footwear and event poster designs for The Vintage Suitcase among others. They have also just launched a new website of their own, the perfect showcase of their work.
