The Singing Spice Company took out their loan of £6,000 in February 2023. The company aims to take the stress out of cooking by creating packs of spice blends that are hand blended to family recipes going back three generations. The spice blends allow customers to create authentic Indian meals in minutes, retaining the health benefits with the chemical free spices, certified by the Soil Association.
Sofia Javed, founder of The Singing Spice Company said: “Our vision extends beyond the kitchen, with every purchase made allowing us to feed vulnerable children in need around the world. We also partner with Chefs in Schools, a UK based charity that campaign for supporting children at risk of hunger in the UK.
As our ambitions grow as a company, we want to give back to our community, and the British Business Bank’s Start Up Loan will allow us to reach the next phase of growth as we continue our journey.”
