Pip Howeson is dedicated to the rejuvenation of the British textile industry, offering a bespoke tailoring service of handcrafted coats and jackets.

Pip is an experienced tailor and having previously worked for fashion brand Jack Wills and for fashion designer Selina Blow, she decided to act on a dream she had for some time. Opening her own bespoke tailors using British fabric sourced from small independent mills in the UK.

Pip’s Start Up Loan made it possible for her to set up her website and pay for marketing costs to promote the business. The loan also allowed her to purchase a range of sample fabrics to get things started.

The business offers three levels of tailoring to ensure customers get the right clothing for them. Items can be made to order, custom made or utterly bespoke. This ensures each item is perfectly fitted and suited to individual tastes. Each item also uses fabrics made by British mills and sourced personally by Pip herself, and there are over fifty different fabrics, showcasing a range of colours, textures and patterns to choose from.

Committed to protecting and promoting the British textile industry and its historic practices, Pip Howeson London champions the importance of ‘Made in Britain.’ The business has rapidly become a renowned brand with celebrity clients including Stephen Fry.
