With Kupkase it’s personal. They’re not just a pretty cake.

KupKase, specialising in bespoke and beautiful cupcakes and wedding cakes, was founded by Kasey Clarke after she wanted to turn her passion for great cakes into a business and share her recipes and flavours with others.

Prior to starting her business, Kasey worked as a radio producer for the BBC. She had always loved baking, but with a demanding job Kasey rarely had time to enjoy her hobby. In 2013, when the opportunity for voluntary redundancy came up at work, she made the decision to start her own baking business. Training under world class cake designer Bonnie Gordon in Toronto gave Kasey all the experience she needed to launch her own cake business.

Kasey’s Start Up Loan enabled her to buy baking equipment which she needed to start her business from home. She bakes bespoke cakes for all occasions and has recently launched a new product range, KupKase Kake pots. Her products are sold online and at local food festivals and markets.

Kasey’s kake pots are now stocked in Selfridges, she has baked for fantastic clients such as Capcom, BBC and Universal Pictures and has recently taken on an intern to help expand her brand further.
