Sara Roberts used a £20,000 Start Up Loan to launch Healthy Nibbles, the UK’s first healthy vending machine company that offers healthy products and locally sourced snacks.
When Sara realised no other UK vending provider offered healthy snacks, she decided to fill the gap in the market by starting her own company that would provide an alternative to the sugar-filled products usually found in vending machines. The Healthy Nibbles SMART vending machines provide full nutritional information to customers and give Sara accurate sales information to allow strategic re-stocking.
At the start of lockdown in 2020, Sara trialed home delivery of healthy snacks and found there was a huge demand for her products as employers searched for new ways to motivate their staff from home. Sara has now adapted her service to deliver healthy snacks across the country direct to employees’ homes.
