It’s universally aknowledged that mentoring is as important, if not more important, than the loan when starting your business. That’s why the Start-Up Loans Company is insisting that every entrepreneur who gets a loan through us, also gets a mentor with it.

Whether it’s just to run past an idea, brainstorm with, seek advice from, or just learn from someone who’s done it before, your mentor will be regularly available to help you launch your business.

To help you really have the best start to your business, we expect every entrepreneur to meet their mentor to help guide them to make the best decisions for their business, and have a better chance to succeed.

However, mentoring is a compulsory part of the Start Up Loans programme and if entrepreneurs do not attend sessions, this will be an indication of those who do not take their loan or business seriously.
